PAT Testing Training Courses

PAT Testing is not an especially complicated process, but you do need to COMPETENT to carry it out - this is a legal requirement.

There is no official body which regulates the PAT Testing Industry but there are a number of companies offering training courses in PAT Testing.

There is a City and Guilds Qualification (2377) although this is a theory based qualification, aimed at qualified electricians. If you want to carry out PAT Testing compently, then you should really consider attending a specialist course, offered by a professional company such as PAT Testing Expert.

PAT Testing Expert offer a one day course at various locations around the United Kingdom.

The course lasts for one-day, and runs from 9:45 to 4:30 - it contains a mix of theory and practical, and gives you the opportunity to put in practice what you learn immediately, by testing a large variety of equipment supplied. You will use a variety of different PAT Testing machines, as well as having the opportunity to learn which machines are best for each application.

You will receive a certificate at the end of the course.

Many people attempt to learn about PAT Testing by reading a book, or by watching a DVD - although these can be useful, there is no substitute for receiving hands on experience in a comfortable learning environment - getting expert knowledge and putting it into practice straight away.

All of PAT Testing Expert's courses are delivered by Tim James, who has over 20 years experience in the field of PAT Testing.
